Eastbourne mummy lady garden

I stayed with a friend (nicknamed mummy hence title of this post) in her amazingly decorated flat in Eastbourne this weekend, my first ever visit to the seaside town. I just took a few photo’s around her house and garden, then we went for a walk into town. I really loved the architecture and found the most amazing pipe under Eastbourne pier that is decaying and falling to pieces, it made a great subject for some abstract photography.

We also visited the Towner gallery and saw an amazing installation by Gibson Martelli which consisted of a life size replica of a trappers cabin with a rowing boat inside where you can virtually row around a flooded London. The cabin really reminded me of the house in the film Paperhouse beautiful but creepy.
